How does it work?

We'll have a 15 min chat about what you're looking to do, and what I might be able to do to help you with that. And you can decide if you like me enough to proceed! 

(There is no cost for this - don't stress, I have put my fees down below!)

​This session can take anywhere between 2-6 hours (crazy I know!). If we find we're going over 90 minutes in the first session, we'll book in another session (or 2) to finish it up (at no extra cost). Here's what we'll go through;

1. Understanding Where You Are: We will have a chat to get a sense of where you are in life. We will break down your time with family, friends, and pets – it's all about putting things in perspective. This is always interesting and will probably change your perspective a bit on "time".
    

2. Designing Your Dream Life: We will discuss family plans, school choices for current or future children, and even your furry friends. Plus, we will chat about your community involvement and giving back. I want to help you explore your goals, from travel plans to your dream home, car, hobbies and things you might want to learn. We also consider the people you want to share your time with and whether you could use a little more holiday time – maybe you need 8 or 12 weeks instead of the usual 4.
    

3. Deep Dive: We'll estimate how much your dream life will cost over the duration of your life. My analysis involves summing up the cost requirements for your current aspirations, then estimate the lifetime expenses required to bring your dream life to fruition.
    

4. Getting You on Track: If there's a gap between where you are and where you want to be, I offer practical advice tailored to your circumstance. E.g. if there is no shortfall, my advice may be to work less and spend more time doing things you love with people you love. Likewise, if there is a shortfall, and property investment aligns with how you want to pursue your goals, I can connect you with a trusted Buyers Agent (refer Phase 2 below) who knows the ropes when it comes to finding the right property.
    

5. Holding your hand throughout: If property investment is the strategy you choose, I will be there, ready to answer questions and provide support as you work towards your financial and life goals. I can tell you all the “mistakes” I have made and lesson’s I have had to learn the hard way over the last decade and make sure you have a smoother experience.

After we go through Phase 1, if you want me to connect you to a buyers agent, depending on which state, the cost for that will be $5,500.00 (including GST). Most agents charge between $15k-$30K, and to be honest this horrified me. I have personally established a relationship with a couple of buyers agents and trust them with my own portfolio. If you do proceed with Phase 2, I will be there to hold your hand through the property buying process and help guide you through that also, while letting the Buyers Agent do the grunt of the research for the right property. There are things I know to ask the BA, that you wont know – e.g. are there mosquito nets on every window, do any of the blinds/curtains need replacing, are all locks on the doors in working order, is there a shower screen in the bathroom etc. All of these things I found out the hard way. Basically you’ll have the BA and myself on your team, to find you the best property.

This means you'll have an experienced Buyers Agent and me on your team for well under the standard cost of most buyers agents. Bargain!

It's also important to note, that I don't take any referral fees - ever. I refer only because I believe they'll do a great job, and I've used them personally.

So, I suppose if you've read this far, you're wondering what my fees are? My Fee is $6,900.00 (including GST), but keep in mind, you'll have both of us (me and a buyers agent) working by your side for well under the price of a standard buyers agent.

I'll check in every 12 months to see how you're tracking toward your goals and to see if you need any help with anything. I genuinely want to see you succeed, so holding you accountable and getting an update every 12 months will my absolute pleasure!
